Now Tonii why you left me hanging like that? I loved this book and the way you incorporated your past characters in it as well. First of all I wish somebody would give Cynthia the beat down of her life because no mother should ever be so negative towards their child. One couldn't blame Jayla's way of thinking but from everything she'd already experienced it was understandable. Maiya was a hoe all around the board and I wanted her scandalous ass to accept the fact she messed up. Lawd some type of friend Minnie was. I liked Zander and how he never let what anyone say steer his feelings. He does need to get some things together with his life though. Poor Maria! Everything definitely wasn't greener on the other side. Her stubbornness and needing to live freer was beyond crazy. I do think Kevin made a mistake as well though. At first I felt Jazara would be cool but that heifer ain't no better. She was doing a lot of questionable and unnecessary bs. It was so much going on but I loved it nonetheless and can't wait for part 2. I'm hoping Jayla has a change of heart before it's too late, Maria gets her life back on track, Zander realizes he needs to get control of everything going on in his life, Maiya and Jazara find something better to do with their time, and Jayla finally snaps back at Cynthia.Product details

This book was great. I was rooting for Zander and Jayla. I hope in part two she doesn't go through it. Her mom is a true b---- and Minnie and Maiya smh.

OMG, can't wait to see what happens in book 2, can't stand Cynthia, Maiya is a dirty trifling you know what, what's next for Maria and Kevin, and Zander's dilemma, will Jayla go through with it
I finished this book in one day...it was that good. I loved that it kept my attention the entire time. I enjoyed it so much that im going to check out more books by Tonii. Thanks for a good read!
This book really hit home. It made me smile, cry and kept me turning the page. Scandalous women, hurtful words and a broken heart were Jayla's demons, and just when she thinks she's overcome them, she hits another blow. Great read, could use some editing, but overall loved the storyline.
This book was very entertaining, I enjoyed the characters and their situations! My favorite character was Jayla, I felt for her and hated that the ones close to her always put her down, but she took it and kept moving, she never let them see her cry. Kevin and Maria what can I say, Maria should of never left, but I wonder if she learned her lesson, can't wait to see what happens next. Zander, Zander, Zander it never tells as soon as you try to do better your past comes back. I hope he can fix things with Jayla. Didn't like that ending because now it keeps me waiting until part 2. I will definitely recommend this book.
